Visitation for Larry D. Shinneman 61, is Friday from 4-7 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176) Mundelein. Funeral service will begin at 7 PM Friday. He was born June 28, 1951, at rest February 16, 2013. His parents are Dean and the late Anne Shinneman formerly of Lake Forest. Larry was a member of the Moose International and the Vietnam Veterans Group. He marched proudly in the Memorial Day and 4th of July parades in his hometown of Mundelein for over 30 years. He proudly served in Vietnam in 1970 in the Special Forces Division/Army. His passions were his family and friends. He was a die hard Chicago Bears fan. Larry had an extreme love and compassion for pets and animals. He loved playing bingo. He is survived by his loving soul mate Mary Gibb, his father Dean (Bonnie) Shinneman, loving children; Eve (Derek) Daniels, Bonnie (Pete) Tzimpas, Kristi (Chris) Kaminski, Michael (Amy) Gibb and David Gibb, loving grandchildren; Alyssa, Myranda, Stephanie, Ryan, Sean, Jessica, Skylar, Brandon, Ryli, Hunter, and his loving siblings; David (Jill) Shinneman and Sara (Jim) Long and his former wife Melodie.
